Refreshing sugar-free Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade is delicious to sip on while enjoying the spring-time weather or make for a special festive occasion!

Strawberry Lemonade

Are you starting to see some splashes of sunshine and new growth in your garden?

My mint looks fantastic and is growing wild. I’m not having the sameluck with with my basil though!

After transplanting my basil from mywindow sill to an outside container it got mad at me and hasn’t grown as well since then.

Perhaps the mama got tired of me snipping the leaves off for that gorgeousbasil pestoI was hooked on a few months ago or maybe the sunrays aren’t strong enough in that area .

I don’t know, but I’m going to try to get the few herbs I have to flourish again!

Spring-time and gardens with bright plants encourages me to be in the yard more. I enjoy sweeping up the leaves that fall on our deck and sprucing up our courtyard with seasonal flowers.

Itusually turns into a half day event and more exercise than going to they gym.

Seriously, I work up a sweat and well as workout muscles that I never knew existed!

Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade With Monk Fruit

This Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade is the perfect reward for a good day of work in theyard!

I love looking at what I’ve accomplished by propping my feet up on a lounge chair while sipping ona refreshingcold drink!

After sweating and burning all those calories, the last thing I want is to fill up on a sugary soda, so I created this sugar-free lemonade from a natural sweetenerfrommonk fruit!

Natviaprovided me with a variety of natural sweeteners including their Norbu brand of The Sweet Monk, the sugar alternative made frommonk fruit.

Natural Sweeteners

I’ve been a proponent of natural sweeteners like xylitol, erythritol, and stevia for quite a while, but I’ve never tried monk fruit until now.

Monk fruit can be used and prepared just like you would table sugar, and it’s natural sweetness doesn’t have a bitter aftertaste.

This isgreat tasting sweetener with incredibly low calories (zero per 1/2 teaspoon) that I plan on experimenting more with!

Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade is easy to make using fresh berries.

This lemonade has that prominent punch oftang from the freshly squeezed lemons, and can be made with filtered water instead of sparkling if preferred.

As the season changes and fresh peaches become available, youmay also be interested in trying this freshPeach Lemonade!

  • 1 cup about 5-8 depending on size fresh Lemon juice

  • Stir in remaining 3 cups of water. Fill cups with ice and enjoy!

Notes

Note 1 -This can be made with sparkling water or still water. Still water can be kept in the refrigerator, but if you use sparkling water, serve right away.
