How Many SmartPoints Does Chicken Have?

According to Weight Watchers, skinless chicken breast and eggs now belong to ZeroPoint foods in the Blue and Purple plans. How amazing is that! This just means that you’ll get to enjoy more chicken slow cooker recipes without worrying about eating too many SmartPoints!

Well, this is not exactly surprising since chicken meat has well-documented health benefits. It is also known as a wonderful substitute for red meat.

Chicken is an excellent source of protein, amino acids, vitamin B12, choline, zinc, iron, tryptophan, and a lot more! But aside from being a real healthy food, we also know how delicious it can be when slow-cooked!

How Long Should You Cook Weight Watchers Chicken Slow Cooker Recipes?

There’s no doubt that there’s a great deal of Weight Watchers chicken slow cooker recipes you can find online, but before anything else, the real question is, how long should chicken cook in the slow cooker?

Many weight watchers, mothers, and even me have experienced the same dilemma — slow-cooked dry chicken. Hence, I decided to do some research, and I was shocked to find the answers!

Boneless and skinless chicken breast on a medium serving only needs 2.5-3.5 hours on LOW for it to be fully cooked in the slow cooker. While cooking larger recipes should only take 4-6 hours cooking. I hate to break this to you but do not ever cook boneless and skinless chicken breast on HIGH unless you want to have a dry and overcooked chicken for dinner.
